VIKASAM (Skill Development)
The VIKASAM (Skill Development) program by HELP Society focuses on empowering individuals, especially from marginalized communities, by providing them with the skills needed to secure stable employment and improve their livelihoods. Through vocational training and workshops, VIKASAM offers courses in a variety of fields such as tailoring, computer literacy, carpentry, and entrepreneurship, among others. The program is designed to equip participants with practical, job-ready skills that can help them break free from the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient. By focusing on skill development, HELP Society aims to build a stronger workforce, creating opportunities for economic mobility and personal growth.
In addition to technical training, VIKASAM also provides soft skills development, including communication, leadership, and teamwork, to ensure that individuals are well-rounded and prepared for the workplace. The program emphasizes the importance of confidence, work ethics, and adaptability in today's ever-changing job market. VIKASAM aims to create a sustainable impact by not only improving the employability of participants but also fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging individuals to start their own businesses and contribute to the local economy. Through these efforts, HELP Society is helping build a more skilled and empowered community, capable of achieving long-term success.
